Gestational diabetes:

Gestational diabetes is a condition where a child without diabetes develops diabetes during pregnancy caused due to not enough insulin in the setting of insulin resistance.

These substances work individually or together towards lowering the Blood glucose levels.

Besides, it also contains a substance called lectin (plays major role in having a hypoglycemic effect in the body) which reduces blood sugar concentrations by acting on peripheral tissues and suppressing appetite.
