    Piles can be of different sizes and may be inner (inside the anus) or outer ones (outside the anus). Ordinarily, inside piles happen from 2 to 4cm over the opening of the anus. Outside piles (perianal hematoma) happen on the outside edge of anus. The interior ones are significantly more normal.
