The Storylines Behind 9 Colours For 9 Days:

Day 1:

Colour: White 

Goddess Name: Shailputri, the mountain goddess, is honoured on Day 1.

The celebrations are performed calmly and innocently in white. This symbolises peace, purity, and tranquillity.

Day 2:

Colour: Red

Goddess Name: Brahmacharini is worshipped on the (2nd) second day.

She represents penance and dedication—red symbolised passion, power, and fiery vigour, reflecting the goddess’s determination.

Day 3: Royal Blue

Goddess Chandraghanta is honoured on Day 3.

Who wears the crescent moon on her brow. Blue symbolises peace, heavenly energy, and her rich shape.

Day 4: Yellow 

Goddess Kushmanda is celebrated on Day 4.

It indicates the universe’s strength, brightness, and hope, symbolising the goddess’s birth-bringing power.

Day 5: Green

Goddess Skandamata is worshipped on Day 5.
