Ingredients for making the vegetable noodles:
Oil tbsp
Onion medium. Chopped
Garlic tsp chopped
Ginger tsp chopped
Carrot, medium, chopped
Capsicum small, diced or sliced
Beans- 1 cup sliced
Mushroom cup sliced (optional)
Water cup
Cornflour Tsp
Soy sauce (tsp)
Noodles packet
Procedure for making healthy vegetable noodles:
- Take a frying pan or nonstick pan. Heat some oil in it. Put in onions and stir. When the onions become tender and change colour, add garlic and ginger. Sauté for a few minutes. Now add all the other vegetables and again sauté for a couple of minutes. The vegetables should become tender, and till then, keep stirring.
- Now add water, corn flour, and soy sauce to it and mix well. Make sure that the corn flour does not become lumpy, and keep stirring when it cooks. When the sauce becomes thick and starts cooking, turn it off and keep it aside.
- Take the noodles and boil them in the water by following the instructions given in the outer packet. When the noodle is cooked, drain it completely.
- Now add the sauce and the vegetables into it. Stir it so that it mixes well. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
