Serves: 4 people

 

Ingredients for making Aloo Poha Recipe 

  • Rice flakes: 1 ½ cups
  • Cumin seeds ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard seeds 1/8 tsp
  • Red chilli powder ½ tbsp
  • Turmeric powder: 1/8 tsp
  • Vegetable oil ½ tbsp
  • Onion, 1 small, diced
  • Potato, 1 medium, diced
  • Tomato 1 medium, diced

Procedure for making Aloo Poha Recipe 

  • Take a pan and heat the oil. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to it.
  • Let it sputter. Add onions and potatoes to it. Sauté until it becomes golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes and sauté again for five more minutes.
  • Now add chilli powder and turmeric powder to it.
  • Add rice flakes and mix them thoroughly so that they mix well.
  • Now close the pan and let it cook for another 2 minutes. Serve hot.
  • You can garnish it with coriander leaves
  • Aloo poha is ready to eat. Enjoy this for breakfast or brunch.
