Food rich in protein and fatty foods like meat and fish takes longer to digest than high-fiber foods like fruits & vegetables. Sweets like candies, pastries are fastest to digest.  

Follow these tips for fast digestion:

  • Exercise for 30 minutes everyday
  • Go for small frequent meals
  • Chew food well
  • Drink lots of water
  • Include Fiber in the diet
  • Exclude fatty, heavy meals
  • Avoid smoking, caffeine, & alcohol
  • Sleep sound. But no immediately after eating. 3 to 4 hours of gap is recommended
  •  Include probiotics in your meal like yogurt for gut’s good health
  • It’s a myth that fast digestion leads to weight loss. Pay attention to what you eat and how you approach your diet to stay fit and health
