One can take honey, in a raw state in amounts of 2-3 teaspoons, or you can also add it in warm milk and drink it. Doing this for a week, will help get rid of the cough very soon.
Turmeric contains an active agent named as cur cumin. These active agents have strong anti-bacterial, anti-viral and also anti-inflammatory properties.
