Quinoa is such a versatile ”grain-like” food that you can eat cold, hot, sweet or savory. it's gluten-free and super easy to cook.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup washed quinoa

2 cups filtered water

1 tbsp coconut or sesame oil(optional)

Pinch of salt and pepper to taste

Perfect Quinoa

PRE COOKING:

Always rinse quinoa thoroughly until the water is clear.

Soak for 5 mins.in fresh clean water and drain before cooking.

MEASURE:

2 parts water for

1 part quinoa

Cooking methods:

STOVE:

Place drained quinoa and water in a medium-size saucepan, and bring to boil.

Add salt and pepper if desired.

Reduce to simmer.cover and cook until water is absorbed(12-15 minutes).

Let it sit for 6-8 mins and fluff with a fork before serving.

MICROWAVE:

Place drained quinoa and water in a microwave-safe bowl.

Cook on high mode for 10 mins

Cover and allow it to absorb water for 2-3 mins

Quinoa is ready to serve when it turns from white to transparent and the germ has spiraled out of the grain.

Toast on low for 1-2 Min. it observes all favor.

Note: Quinoa is a complete protein.it has rich anti-inflammatory compounds and high in Dietary Fibre.
